Tips on how to facilitate “value moments”

A value moment can be held in small teams as a way to start a meeting, or in larger groups led by a facilitator. Below are some tips for conducting a value moment using this tool.

Secure that you have an internet connection. If the scenario films are to be shown on a big screen, make sure you have good sound.

If possible, form groups of no more than five people to maximize each person’s participation.

Once each scenario film has played, three questions will appear for discussion. If you have several groups in the room, ask them to discuss in small groups and then each group to share highlights to the larger group.

After group discussion, click “Things to consider” and go through the input to the scenario.

Summarize the takeaways.

Repeat with a new scenario if you want to facilitate more discussions.
